My inner child should be throttled, not nurtured.  He seems to come out at the worst times and in the worst ways.  The old man’s face opens in the style of a Northwest Indian transformation mask, revealing the brat within.  The bust is sculpted in olive, the brat’s face is maple, and the pedestal is covered with sapelle. The piece is finished with wood bleach, 23K gold leaf, and acrylic polyurethane
