Whether alone, with a friend or with my kids, in Southern California, Scotland, or Hawaii, hours spent tide pool exploring never failed to reinvigorate my love of nature. A great activity.  This scene is sculpted from locally harvested ash and Indian rosewood, on a poplar base.  Finished with wood bleach, aniline dyes, and acrylic polyurethane.
